Diversity in Technology – A Note from the Producer

I am thrilled to be creating the UK’s first conference dedicated to increasing diversity and equal opportunity within the tech sector!

Diversity in TEchnology

Diversity in Technology, 15th June at 155 Bishopsgate: www.diversity-in-technology.com

About this event

With uncertainty on the horizon, it is vital to be aware of the current economic and political situation and the impact change could have on the tech sector. We will analyse the opportunities available, so you can create a strategy to future proof your company.

What to expect

The conference will take a deep dive into the fundamentals of attracting, hiring, developing and retaining diverse talent. Our speakers will talk candidly about their own challenges, failures and successes, so we can accelerate our progression towards adopting the best strategies and technologies available.

One area the event highlights is the impact a diverse workforce can have on your products. We'll hear from Microsoft’s Global Director of Diversity and Inclusion on this topic as well as the importance of inclusive design.

I am also pleased to say that IBM’s CTO is taking to the stage with a case study on the frustration he faces with the results of current D&I programmes and the challenges associated when trying to improve diversity in their workforce.
